About Muro Jewelry

Hi, I'm Rosa.
I'm an artist, architect, and jeweler based in North Carolina, and I believe that the objects we choose to carry become part of our stories.
I've always been fascinated by the quiet beauty of everyday materials, the grain of a piece of wood, the texture of sand collected from a favorite beach, the layers that appear when resin catches the light. My work begins with these ordinary elements and transforms them into small wearable landscapes, modern talismans, and tiny sculptures meant to be lived with.
Architecture taught me to pay attention to proportion, rhythm, and repetition. Jewelry taught me that the smallest objects can hold the biggest memories.
Every piece is designed and finished by hand in my studio. I cut, sand, solder, paint, polish, and layer each one individually, embracing the small variations that make handmade work feel alive. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, just as no two memories are.
Many of my collections incorporate recycled materials, natural textures, and real beach sand, preserving places that matter and giving new life to objects that might otherwise be forgotten. I love the idea that something discarded can become something treasured.
I don't create jewelry simply to complete an outfit.
I create pieces for the person who keeps a shell in their pocket after a vacation, who takes the same morning walk because it feels like home, who believes that meaning can be found in the smallest rituals and that beauty belongs in everyday life.
My hope is that when you wear a piece from Muro Jewelry, it becomes more than an accessory. I hope it reminds you of a place you love, a person you miss, a journey you've taken, or simply a moment that deserves to be carried with you.
Thank you for being here and for supporting handmade art.
— Rosa
