Clear Blue Almond Shaped Wood and Resin Necklace

This almond shaped necklace has been handmade from a reclaimed piece of light wood and translucent blue with a few silver sparkles.  A gold plated loop is attached and the pendant hangs from a 32 inch gold plated chain. Both resin and wood are smooth to the touch; they have been sanded using several different sandpaper grades.

The piece measures approximately 2 inches tall and 1.125 inch wide.

Every piece is handmade. I don't use templates so each one is unique with a variety of resin and wood ratios. My process includes cutting, shaping and sanding the piece by hand one at a time. All pieces are made by me in my studio in Huntersville, NC.
